D-4 R'otha  Class Cruiser

The R'otha class development started in 2231, and the first ship of this class was launched from the Kalet Imperial Yards in 2240. These ships were the largest of their time, and were designed solely to counter the perceived threat of the Federation Starfleet. The class saw action during the four years war, and all of the first 8 R'otha class ships were destroyed in 2250 during the Battle of Axanar. A slightly updated version of the R'otha class was re-introduced to production in 2253, which saw service until its withdrawal in 2303
