Commenced in 2242 and Commissioned in 2251, Command and Supply
Post KB0.3/W8.0S was intended as
the command centre for a chain of new heavily armed border posts
along the Klingon Frontier. The
astronomical cost of this station caused the others to be
suspended and the Klingon Border continued to rely
on smaller outpost stations. The additional 9 stations would not
have been any help in the four years war in
any case as they would not have been completed until 2260 at the
earliest. This station was defended by Mission-X
class patrol ships.
